We are delighted announce Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson as an upcoming guest in our Power Hour series.
Tanni will join Centre Director Kezia Dugdale in conversation at 1pm on 23 February.
Tanni Grey Thompson is a multi-gold medal winning Olympian, disability rights campaigner and crossbench peer in the House of Lords. Join us to explore her career, her work in the House of Lords looking at the Duty of Care in sport after high profile incidents of abuse, bullying, racism and discriminations, as well as her hopes and fears for the future.
This event is open to everyone but registration is required. Events are recorded and you can view past Power Hour events here.
Each Power Hour session seeks to exam a different aspect of power in politics and public life. From the role of special advisers to opposition backbench MPs, to Government Ministers and think tank directors, we spend 60 minutes with key decision makers looking at their careers, the big issues they’ve grappled with and their thoughts on the future.
